Inspired by her love of the sea and the underwater world, Alice brings her experiences in freediving into her artwork. Whether this comes in the form of movement, colour, emotions felt, or sealife she has spent time with, you will always find parts of her watery soul in her pieces.

A lot of Alice's work centres around colour and movement. With her abstract pieces, she often creates from her "colour flashes," spontaneous mental visions of colours that must be immediately translated onto canvas.

“The colours explode into my mind and I can’t concentrate until I have put them onto a canvas. The amount of times on my travels that I have had to buy whatever supplies I can get my hands on...I have so many children’s packs of crayons from all over the world!”

A lot of her work is emotions based, and every piece comes from the heart and soul, which you can see in each movement on the canvas. Each piece is special, coming from a memory, experience or feeling in her soul.

Background

Alice has painted and sold her work since she was a girl, and it has always been a huge part of her life. This passion continued throughout her career working in fashion editorial, creative direction, and her years running deck in the superyacht industry. She became a full time artist in 2025, after finding her beautiful studio.
